Functie omschrijving:

Technical Consultants are responsible for the implementation of both distributed and centralized IT Infrastructures, as well as occasional presales activity. The client’s Infrastructure Solutions consist of their products, other’s products (hardware and software), IT processes and limited Applications.

The role of Technical Consultant has a strong customer focus in terms of ensuring that the client delivers and implements all solutions in accordance with industry and vendor best practice. Technical consultants work very closely with Project Managers, Solution Architects, Service Delivery personnel and Consulting partners. You will be the technical focal point once a solution is being deployed; this involves both hands-on implementation and working alongside the client's partner consultants to support them and also ensure the solution is completed to customer satisfaction.

Functie eisen:

- Solid understanding of SAN, NAS and Backup Storage infrastructure and associated Storage applications or Virtualisation or Microsoft end user computing

- Understanding of IT architecture implementation & IT technologies installations/customizations/integrations/tuning

- Understanding of Business to IT alignment requirements and technology implications

- Understanding of IT managed services contract requirements and appropriate technologies

- Risk analysis and management during implementation

- For Storage: must have several years experience with EMC SAN and NAS Technology, preferably with certification: EMC Proven Professional, or equivalent SNIA Certification

- For Microsoft: must have certifications like MCSE

- For Virtualisation: must have knowledge of VMWare and HyperV and certifications like VCP.

- Fluent in Dutch and English
