Our client is looking for Master level knowledge and proven experience in client infrastructure consulting to grow in this domain.

Functie omschrijving:

Main activities:

- The development of infrastructure technology roadmaps for strategic accounts.

- The identification and qualification of opportunities for client infrastructure transformation projects.

- The delivery of customer workshops and other tasks that are typically associated with consultative selling.

- The driving of the preparation of RFP's responses.

- The design of the solution and the architectural fundamentals behind, based on customer requirements.

- The working out of the unique selling points.

- The creation of effort estimates and project plans.

- The management of the functionality of the solution during the implementation phase.

- The mentoring and coaching of the project team during implementation.

Key responsibilities:

- The role of the Solution Architect in the related domain.

- The design of the solution within the scope of the projects, using both existing and newly designed components.

- The capturing and sharing of architectural intellectual property at the project and program level.

- The governance of the implementation process within the scope of the related architecture.

- The active contribution to the Architect profession worldwide and associated business groups.

- The assessment of the business impact of specific technologies/strategies.

- The identification and resolution of technical or operational risks.

- The provisioning of review/input on project activities for medium to large business unit level projects.

- The collaboration with the project manager to develop detailed project plans and work breakdown structures for medium to large business unit level projects.

- The development and delivery of sales presentations targeted at C-level management of large opportunities

- The leadership role for large projects within a business unit and a contributor role to cross business unit projects.

Functie eisen:

- Understands future technology, operational trends as they relate to client infrastructure & "new way of working"

- A Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field

- 5 - 7 years experience in consulting business as solution architect.

- Fluent in Dutch, as well as English (oral and written)

- Experience in designing and leading large-scale infrastructure projects.

- Connected to a well developed network within the Dutch enterprise customers community Experience in building cross platform client infrastructure solutions (VMware, Citrix, Microsoft)

- A good understanding of financial parameters (business case or ROI driven project definition)

- Leadership skills to manage project team during pursuit and delivery

- Dynamic personality, keen to interact with customers

- Able to design and present high-impact messages to customer's multiple audience levels, including senior level management.

- Ability to use a wide variety of presentation tools to persuasively communicate complex messages to multiple audience levels, including senior level management.

- Familiarity with the communication of a mix of strategic and tactical messages.

- Occasionally required to travel internationally.
