Job SummaryAs a Senior Jave Software Developer you will create and maintain software components for the Asset Control product suite as a team member of agile software development teams. You will play a leading role in the design effort and is driving quality and delivery commitment. Fluent handling of Java based applications is a requirement for this job.Main tasks & Resposibilities

• Take ownership of design, implementation and delivery of new features and components, ensuring comliance with the Asset Control achitecture standards;



• Develope adequate project documentation, including delivery of functional and design specifications;



• Develope in a test driven way robust, efficient, flexible and maintainable software that is compliant with Asset Control style guidelines;



• Ensure the definition of done is achieved at the end of every development iteration;



• Perform maintenance on software product code;



• Provide 2nd level product support;



• Work on problems that are complex in scope.

EducationBachelor’s degree in Computer Science or another technical discipline

Experience & skills

• Experienced in working in agile development environments and familiar with principles on Lean, Waste and the roles, activities and artifacts utilized within an agile development methodology;



• Proven ability to develop robust, efficient, flexible and maintainable code in a test driven way;



• Deep knowledge of the Java programming language (4+ years);



• Experience with GUI design of client and web applications is beneficial;



• Knowledge on C++ is beneficial;



• Good knowledge of data processing and databases, experience with Sybase and/or Oracle is a plus;



• Experience with Unix/Linux;



• Knowledge of recent development tools, technologies, languages, frameworks and trends is useful'



• Experience with full product development life cycle;



• Good analysis, problem solving and estimation skills;



• Able to express new ideas to improve product;



• Good communication  skills;



• Experience in the financial industry is a plus.
